Under the supervision of a Registered Radiology Technologist, the Radiology Support Associate performs delegated functions as a member of a radiology team to provide a variety of services. These activities contribute to meeting the safety and comfort needs of patients, and are performed in accordance with all existing regulatory and hospital standards, policies and procedures. Reports to Operations Manager, Unit Leader or Team Leader.
Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent required. Previous patient care experience preferred; specific experience as designated by work area may be required. CPR validation within 3 months of hire. Must possess effective communication skills. Demonstrates an ability to read, write and speak English, and perform basic arithmetic.
